Mouthy

Privacy Policy

Effective October 14, 2026

In short: Mouthy does not collect any data about you. Your voice recordings and clips are made and stored only on your device. There are no accounts, no analytics, no ads and no tracking.

This policy explains how the Mouthy app for iPhone and iPad ("Mouthy", "we") handles information. Mouthy is made by Fuzail Abdikhalikov.

Information we collect

None. Mouthy has no servers of its own and does not send your information to us or to anyone else. We cannot see your recordings, clips or how you use the app.

Microphone

Mouthy uses the microphone only while you hold the record button or use Live voice, so your creature can say what you said. The sound is processed on your device to change the voice. Recordings are not uploaded anywhere.

Recordings and clips

Hinge and motion

On foldable iPhones, Mouthy reads the hinge angle to move the creature's jaw. On other devices it may use motion sensors when you tilt the phone. This information is used live on your device and is never stored or shared.

Purchases

In-app purchases are processed by Apple. We do not receive your name, payment details or Apple Account information. Apple's handling of your purchase is described in Apple's Privacy Policy.

Children

Mouthy does not collect personal information from anyone, including children.

Deleting your data

Delete a clip in My Clips, or delete the app to remove all recordings, clips and settings from your device. Clips you saved to Photos stay in Photos until you delete them there.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, we will post the new version on this page with a new effective date.
